2021, Lam Research declared the opening of a new 45,000 square foot facility in

The brand-new factory is Lam's fifth American manufacturing location. With chip

and capacity to satisfy growing client demand.
• In August
2021, one of the major manufacturers of chemical vapor deposition systems, CVD
Equipment Corporation, revealed that a significant US-based manufacturer of
electric car battery materials had placed an order for a manufacturing system
worth approximately USD 1.7 million. The customer will receive the system in
the first quarter of 2022.
• In July
2021, the availability of Intrepid ESATM epitaxy equipment for 300mm
applications in power and analog devices as well as epitaxial silicon wafers
was announced by ASM International N.V. By providing ASM with its first 300mm
atmospheric cluster tool built on the well-proven, high-volume production
Intrepid platform, the new ESA equipment expands ASM's atmospheric epi
